The Belize Hotel Association is a non-Governmental Organization, with a vested interest and an obligation to the overnight sector of Belize and in that role, serves on many industry committees, which plays an integral part in decisions as it pertains to the hotel sector.

The dynamics of the Belize Hotel Association is changing and with a very active Board of Directors and a dedicated staff, you are sure to receive great value for your membership.

The Belize Hotel Association encourages and supports the sustainable growth of member hotels through lobbying efforts, national and international linkages, marketing initiatives and training opportunities.

The Board of Directors and staff at the BHA have been extremely busy over the past few years working in collaboration with its members to further the awareness of Belize through its value- added marketing initiatives and outreach in major markets within the United States, Canada, Europe and most recently, South America. With BTB’s partnership in our marketing initiatives, we are pleased to report our presence at over 20 trade and consumer shows in the USA, Canada, Europe, South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Our printed Hotel Guides continue to be the most requested piece at these shows, which is now accompanied by our BHA Belize map that features all our members as well.

Your membership fee also includes a half page listing in the hotel guide and localized pinpoint of your property on the BHA map. Our recent Destination Video initiative ensured each of our member properties were showcased and aired on local channels countrywide as well as internationally at several tradeshows and roadshows and on our YouTube channel.

Our NEW and recently launched BHA website is an information gateway for Belize Hotel searches and includes a wealth of information for members such as Show reports and Leads that are generated from the shows we attend on behalf of our membership. The reports and contacts are loaded after the trade shows as a part of our membership benefit package in an effort to keep you informed as well as to provide adequate and timely leads that you can use to reach out to potential visitors who have expressed interest in Belize.

BHA online also gives our members the unique opportunity to control their property page independent of the BHA, giving you the advantage to control messages, specials, images and all other page content.
